The Challenge
T H E C L I E N T
Wholesale ag chemicals you can count on — offline.
Reichman Sales & Service is an independent, farm-direct supplier of crop-protection products based in Toluca, Illinois. They stock more than 470 herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, seed treatments, adjuvants and
nutritionals, offer direct-to-farm delivery and financing, and compete on agronomic know-how rather than big- box volume. Their business had always been relationship-driven: growers, retailers and applicators who already knew the Reichman name called in for pricing. The website was a static brochure that ranked for almost nothing, generated no measurable leads, and gave a prospective buyer no way to ask for a price without picking up the phone.

Make the website the sales floor.
Ag-chem buyers research by product name and active ingredient, compare generic versus brand pricing, and buy in narrow seasonal windows. Reichman needed to be found for hundreds of specific product searches, convert that traffic into quote requests without adding phone load, and reach farmers outside their existing network before the spring and fall application seasons.
Civsav was engaged as a single performance partner across web, search and paid — with results measured in leads and quoted dollars, not page views.
The Approach
- 01 Site redesign & revamp A new high-performance storefront for the full 470+ product catalog, organized by category and active ingredient, with product label and SDS documents attached to every listing. Mobile-first, fast, and built to be crawled — every product got its own indexable page.
- 02 Self-serve quoting platform A cart-style quote request flow with customer accounts, quote status tracking, agent pricing and one-click acceptance — with a 24-hour response guarantee. Buyers build a quote from the catalog; Reichman's team prices it and closes it inside the same system.
- 03 SEO expansion Product-level and category-level keyword targeting, technical cleanup, structured data, an authority-building link program (351 new referring domains), and content designed to be cited by AI search — Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini and Perplexity.
- 04 Paid acquisition & CRM Meta lead-form campaigns targeting row- crop growers and applicators at a blended $20 cost per lead, a tracked phone line, and a GoHighLevel pipeline that routes every lead to a booked call with a Reichman sales rep. Paid search has been kept deliberately minimal — organic already owns the product searches that matter.

Built to be fast, crawlable and owned.
The new reichmansales.com is a headless build — no page-builder theme, no plugin sprawl, no platform lock- in. Content, storefront and quoting are separate layers that can each evolve without a rebuild.
Next.js front end
A React storefront rendered on the server and served as static pages, so 470+
product pages load in well under a second on rural mobile connections and
are fully indexable by Google and AI crawlers. Core Web Vitals in the green out
of the box.
Sanity.io content platform
Every product, label, SDS document, category and blog post lives as structured content in Sanity. Reichman's team edits in a visual studio; the site, the quoting tool and the search index all read from the same source of truth.
Netlify hosting & deploys
Netlify hosting & deploys Global CDN delivery, automatic SSL, and a preview deploy for every change — staging builds were tested against real form and quote traffic before launch. Zero server maintenance for the client
Custom-built quoting platform
Purpose-built rather than a bolt-on: customer accounts, cart-style quote requests, agent pricing, status tracking and one-click acceptance, with 24-hourturn around. It is the system that turned $489K of requests into $367K of accepted orders.

Near 10× organic traffic, 14× top-3 rankings.
Before the engagement the site drew roughly 225 organic visits a month and held only a dozen top-three positions. Today it draws about 2,300 a month — peaking at 3,029 in July 2026 during the fungicide application window — and holds 167 top-three positions across 690 ranking keywords. Referring domains grew eight-fold, and the site is now cited in 260 AI-generated answers, up from 8.

378 inbound leads — three quarters of them organic.
283 of the 378 leads (75%) arrived through the website's own forms and phone line, driven almost entirely by organic search: 221 form submissions and 62 first-time callers with no meaningful media spend behind them. Paid social added the remaining quarter at roughly $20 a lead.
The redesigned site went live with lead capture at the start of May 2026. Between May 1 and September 4 it produced 221 form submissions from 186 unique contacts — quote requests, contact-form inquiries and pop- up conversions — with no paid traffic behind them until July. Meta lead-form campaigns launched July 15 on $2,820 of total spend — 139 form submissions reported by Meta at a blended $20.29 cost per lead, 95 of them net-new contacts in the CRM, 19 of which booked a sales call directly through the automated follow-up sequence. The website's tracked phone line, live from launch day, brought in a further 62 first-time callers (90 inbound calls, 85 answered) — none of whom had come through a form or a Meta ad.
July was the strongest month to date with 123 leads across the three channels, and August followed with 116 — roughly four new prospective farm accounts every day.

Leads per month, May–August 2026. Website forms from the production site only; staging and test submissions excluded. Phone counts each caller once, in the month of their first call. Paid search spend over the period was negligible and is not broken out. September (7 website, 2 Meta, 3 phone in the first four days) not shown.
