The Challenge
The Setup
Apache Equipment and Ag Distribution are two storefronts for the same equipment dealer. Rather than forcing every channel through one site, we split the strategy: apacheequipment.com was rebuilt from the ground up and pointed at organic search — every lead and phone call on this site is earned traffic at $0 in media spend. agdistribution.com runs the paid program: Meta lead ads and Google Ads at a modest $50/day per channel. This separation gives a clean read on exactly what each channel produces.

SEO: 3.5x+ Organic Growth After the New Site Launch
We relaunched apacheequipment.com and rebuilt its organic foundation from the ground up. The result wasn't incremental — the site re-rated. A domain that had spent years flat suddenly compounded: monthly organic traffic nearly quadrupled from 352 to 1,363 visits, and the ranking profile got denser at
the top of Google, not just wider. Keywords in dead-zone positions (page 5+) were replaced by page-one rankings buyers actually see. Ahrefs, June 2025 vs. August 2026:
• Organic traffic: 352 → 1,363 monthly visits — a 3.9x increase since the rebuild
• 232 organic keywords (+106 in the last 6 months) · 56 top-3 Google rankings (+30)
• Page-one rankings up 76% (132 → 232 keywords in positions 1–10)
• $695/month in organic traffic value (+$557) — traffic competitors pay Google for
• AI search visibility: cited in 28 Google AI Mode responses, 21 AI Overviews, and by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Copilot
That visibility converted immediately and kept accelerating: 525 form submissions from April 1 to August 17 — 393 quote requests, 117 dealer inquiries, and landing-page leads — climbing from 57 in April to 138 in May and running at a ~180/month pace by August. Keyword intent skews heavily commercial (226 commercial + 199 transactional terms): these are people searching to buy equipment, not browse. Every one of these leads arrived at $0 media cost — and unlike ads, the asset producing them compounds instead of resetting to zero each morning.
Meta Ads: $12 Leads and 105 Booked Sales Calls on $50/Day
On agdistribution.com, Meta lead ads ran at $50/day from May 19 to August 17: 379 leads in 91 days (4.2/day) at ~$12 per lead, producing 105 booked sales calls — a 27.7% lead-to-call rate at ~$43 per booked call. Volume accelerated as we optimized: 65 → 59 → 112 → 143 leads/month. These aren't tire-kickers; the lead list reads like a cattle-country directory — working cattle companies, farms,
stockyards, and ag service businesses with equipment budgets.
Google Ads: Bottom-of-Funnel Quote Requests
Google Ads captured 59 leads, 36 of them product-specific quote requests — buyers asking for pricing on a named machine. Lower volume than Meta, but the highest-intent inquiries in the mix.
